I have been noticing this green in one of the specimens I have. It has become more prominent now. Are these eggs perhaps???

I ask because the weather has taken a turn for the good (if you are a sisorid/akysid catfish) and has been quite pleasant over the past few days. I have also been feeding blood worms consistently over the last week or so. The tank temperature hovers between 26-27C.

Major: Now what's this... stone, stone, stone, (looks down at his hand) and scissors. Now. Scissors cut everything, don't they?
Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

I reckon they are. I've got a Pseudolaguvia shawi that has got large yellow eggs showing through, as yours appears to be.

Great! I do have a few spare tanks that will be emptied out soon. I will put the pair in and see how it goes.

Do you have the Akysis vespa paper Steve??? It carries a breeding report right??? I have read the report on the Glaser website but wanted to check if the paper carries any additional information.

Yes, give them a go!

My 'male' P. shawi is very aggressive towards the 'female' so can't see them getting it on any time soon!

I do / did but I've just had a look for it and can't find it. I can't remember what detail was in the breeding part.

HI Balaji

I will send you the A vespa paper.

‘Is it common?’
“It’s not unusual.” :YMTONGUE:
