I haven't been able get into Loricariidae.
I tried a few other Families. They came up but were very slow.
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
It's still very slow, this is either to do with something we've recently changed or perhaps a transient network issue. Will continue to monitor. Not resolved.
Same thing here. Very slow access to the cat-elog. It is faster if I open a new window and get at it through Google rather than through the site itself. Still, shows up with lots of gobbly guk.

There are several issues being reported here that have the same root cause. I've (with a lot of input from Mats) changed the site so that all catfishes face left as per the scientific norm. Whenever an image is displayed, a wee process fires off and figures out which way the master copy of the image is facing and displays it as such. I'm not yet sure this is the right way to do this, but it's something we're working on.
Meantime, a bunch of fixes will be uploaded today to address some of this.
