I have seen one that was easily 30cm (12") SL. A striking fish.Silurus wrote:Mystus leucophasis will reach about 20 cm (these were the sizes of the biggest specimens I have seen, so maybe they'll get slightly bigger).

Hi!
My experience is that they are terrors to other fish especially the mid-level dwellers and slow fish....so much for the beat-each-other-up:
http://jjj.image.pbase.com/u16/valarauk ... Mystus.jpg
although it was a pair m/f...mine were 18/16 cm and still growing...they reached that from 10 cm in half a year. I kept them in a 240 Litre tank btw.

what upside down do Ihave
Mine, doesn't bother anyone in the tank he even let one of my unidentified pleco's take the spot under a log he's been using for month's. He just moved over about 9 inches to another branch no fight's or nothing.there is weaker fish for him to pick on but it don't seem to be in his nature.
