Re: Syno. Ocellifer
They have the juvenile coloration, so nobody can say if they are real S. occelifer.
For me they looks like youngsters of these Synodontis: http://www.synodontis.net/CONTENT.PHP?AW=209&SD=1
But the juvenile coloration is similar in some riverine species...

Re: Syno. Ocellifer
I have seen very small juvenile ocellifer and their pattern was more like adult ocellifer has. So I don't think these are ocellifer.

Re: Syno. Ocellifer
I've seen these on AB & had the same question. I'd have to agree with jippo, they don't look like what is recognized as Syno Ocellifer. Sadly, sometimes sellers/retailers just find the closest thing that they think matches what they have and slap that name on it. This is the case with the "Synodontis Longirostris" you find at PetSmart.
