Hello everyone,
I picked up a small juvenile royal panaque (size comparison with cories in photo) recently, and I'm a little concerned about it. Since he's still small, I've been keeping him in a tank with some C. trilineatus adults. It's a sand bottomed tank with a piece of driftwood for him to gnaw on. He hasn't been feeding, but I also think he hasn't lost any weight yet. He seems to prefer sitting on this rock he came with to perching on the wood, too. Anyone have any suggestions? Water parameters: 80 ppm TDS, 76 F, 0 ppm nitrite, 5 ppm nitrate. Thanks in advance!

Hey, he was easier to photograph than the "real" royal panaque, even though the real one is fully grown.
Fortunately, the real one is feeding...
