Newbie!
Hey guys, just picked up 3 c. habrosus a couple days ago and just wanted to talk to fellow catfish lovers even though these are my first ones... I am going to get 2 or 3 more and a small pleco at some point soon.My tank is a 26 gallon planted amazon and I will post pictures when I can...

Congrats on your new Corys. C.habrosus are a nice little catfish! Not too hard to breed with good food and the right conditions as well. Enjoy!

Should be great! I keep my corys in a 50/50 RO water and tap water mix. The PH is usually between 7.0 and 7.6. It's a bit on the hard side but I don't think they'll have any trouble. C. habrosus are pretty hardy.

Nice to see some discussion on Corys. I do have some in my planted show tank. I sometimes think about how things would have been easier if I stayed with the small stuff.........

I have tried bigger fish from time to time but with limited space the Corys really work best for me. Even with keeping 53 species, I still have room for grow out tanks and quarantine. This was near impossible when working with larger fish.
