Strange hit counts?

Hypancistrus zebra
has 5223 hits, where
Hypancistrus sp(L411)
has 543000?

I thought H. zebra was one of the highest hit species on the site - what happened?

Even more strange, when I finally found a link to the an old H. zebra species page (via cotm) on archive.org, it has ~200k hits in July 2013:

Maybe it's gone around the clock? Need to check the size limit. Hit counts might be something to consider deprecating...
