Supposed "Dolphin Catfish" with fuzzy Barbels. ID please
I have an unknown species of catfish which was labelled as a dolphin catfish but clearly is not. It is about 2.5 inches long (juvie), dark grey head with very large eyes, pointed snout with a pair of long barbels with rays on them. Body is grey with a horizontal white stripe running from just behind the gills to the tail. Two black spots on the tail and the dorsal fin is black at the base. Tried to upload a pic but it doesn't seem to want to work with my iPad

Here are links to the info pages, of two catfish both named under the common name of dolphin catfish in the Catelog -info pages of different species here on the website. Does your fish resemble either of these?
Thanks Teresa

I think a photo is the best way for someone to help you - uploading a pic should work without issue on an iPad (assuming the images to upload are stored on your iPad) - if you're having issues, post further details on whats happening and am sure someone can help.

Yes, I agree. Meanwhile, a random guess, .Martin S wrote:I think a photo is the best way for someone to help you - uploading a pic should work without issue on an iPad (assuming the images to upload are stored on your iPad) - if you're having issues, post further details on whats happening and am sure someone can help.
