In "The world of catfishes"...

Post by TalenT »

Hi

In the book "The world of catfishes" by Midori Kobayagawa i found a picture of a very pretty Pseudacanthicus sp. Now i'm wondering if anyone of you guys know just what sp. it is? The picture is on page 69 and bottom left. The pattern might be described as white background color with dark irregular shaped spots and with one small round white spot in the center of each dark spot.

That's not even a Pseudancanthicus! That's the night time colouration of Leproacanthicus galaxias, regular colouration is shown in the picture up and right. On that page there are 6 pictures all labelled as Pseudancanthicus and only two actually are.
