Has anyone suggested keeping a photo archive of fish diseases,
diagnoses and suggested treatments? And follow-up info on
what treatments did/did not seem effective.
Mainly -- but not limited to -- catfish? (Since catfish people keep
lots of other kinds of fish as well).
Photo examples on the web seem to be thin, and mainly covering
more easily identified diseases.
It would be a great resource!

It's a great idea but I'm not sure how to tackle it. I mean, people don't often post pictures of diseased fish. Are you suggesting we should have a seperate disease forum and extract FAQ and pictures from that to form an article or series?

I wish more people would post pictures of fish with diseases. I would love to see a disease/health FAQ. I've read a lot of advise about improving water quality, and discouraging medications -- but I don't think that's the whole story when curing fish of some problems. Unfortunately trial and error is the way I've learned to date.
