Hypancistrus from the Rio Iriri?

Hypancistrus from the Rio Iriri?

I was under the impression that there are no Hypancistrus native to this river. But the location data for the mythical L250 still shows the fish being from this river. Isn't this incorrect if it does exist?

In addition, I see that L401 is also indicated as coming from the Iriri. Again is this correct?

L250 does exist but if it's from the Iriri then I am Peter Pan's long lost cousin, will fix.

I need to check L401, not sure.

Hi

L 401 originates from Rio Curuá, westwards from Alenquer.

Okay, pardon my ignorance. I see the notes on this L# and the notes are consistent with your comment that L401 is not in the Iriri. Combining the sources of info, I read West and North of Alenquer. But the Curua is south of the main Amazon, and is a tributary of the Iriri. That seems inconsistent to me. Can you help me understand what I'm missing?

My mistake, sorry. I meant was Jools said. There is Rio Curuá which flows into Rio Iriri, Rio Curuá-Una southeast of Santarem and the town of Curuá westwards of Alenquer.
