Spectracanthicus zuanoni diet missing in Cat-eLog
As I've started to keep recently I've noticed that their diet or feeding information is missing from the Cat-eLog.
The paper referenced in the Cat-eLog (http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script= ... so&tlng=en) states that it is a nocturnal grazer of algae and aufwuchs or periphyton from rocks.
Input from Lee in post 5 of my thread here suggests the same: http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 09#p308800
Also my short experience with them suggests that they only come out to feed once the lights are off, as their time in captivity increases I guess their behaviour could change though.
Is it possible to have a brief statement added to the Cat-eLog to state it is a nocturnal grazer of algae and aufwuchs or similar?
Thanks

I keep now for 1,5 years and I have never seen them feed. So yes, I believe they only eat when the light are off and all is quiet ;)
