I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'd like to ask anyone who knows about the tiny catfish, otocinclus. I recently have had an impulse to try and breed the little buggers. I set up my ten gallon with moderately flowing water (ripples on the surface), a lot of plants, extra air and eight otos. Temperature is at 78. After a few months I now see 3 fry (

). Yes, I'm pretty excited. I will be moving the young bushynose pleco into the 90g. The oto tank also has a mystery snail which I acquired mysteriously, (I believe with the purchase of a plant). I can't move that to my 90g, my kubotai loaches will probably torment it, so I've read, even though the snail is already quite large. There are also two endlers in the oto tank that I kept because I didn't really think I'd have oto fry and they're pretty. But they're really small and those baby otos are super fast! The question is: what do I do next? I've read it's tricky to keep the fry alive. I wanted to isolate them, but I then thought they'd have a better chance on their own, foraging. Do I just keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
