Unable to add details to breeding report

Post by thanatoid »

First attempt at adding details to breeding report returned error page with message "data too long for column 'eggs_colour' at row 1[1406]

Second attempt returned "No Blog ID supplied, please report the broken link you clicked on to get here. (task = show)"

This is the form data submitted, minus binary of images:

50 Gal Seaclear II tank
Fluval C4 Power Filter
2 airstones
80% water change every 2-3 days
Cleaned bottom with siphon every 1-2 days
Fed fresh zucchini on veggie clips (3 slices) and Hikari Tropical Algae Wafers for Bottom Feeding Herbivorous Fish (3-4 cookies) daily
Used tap water, which is on the hard side, treated with Seachem Prime.
Plecos had 6 available cave decorations (1 per pleco), this is the one they chose: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1 (size small, 7.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 inch). There's a lip around the bottom edge that apparently looked like a good place to lay some eggs.

Plecos were in quarantine in week 4 of 6 after buying them online from discusmadness.com. Didn't think conditions were good for breeding but here we are.

Noticed the eggs during a regular water change and tank cleaning, on 23 Dec 2018. I estimated 50 or so eggs were there. Managed to put decoration back without disturbing daddy pleco.

I found more eggs on the tank floor, unguarded, on 7 Jan. I removed them rather than risk even more pleco hatching, though they likely weren't fertilized.

About 2 weeks (4 Jan) later I bumped the cave while cleaning the bottom and the pleco fry fled the tank. They were about 10 mm at the time.

All 6 adults were left in with the babies until 18 Feb 2019 (about 8 weeks after eggs were laid).

I've had a go, but I can't recreate this - has it happened since?

Cheers,
