Pleco ID
Thanks in advance for any input.I've had this fish for almost 10 years. I bought it from my lfs. It was traded to them so not sure of the source. Thought it was a common pleco. It was about 3 - 4 inches when I got it and its approximately 7 inches now. It's never gotten any larger. Could it be a common that just didn't grow to full size, a hybrid, or another species of pleco entirely. I realize also there is not just one species of "common" pleco. I've just always been curious to know what it is. I am not really a pleco guy, but I've always liked them and kept them for utilitarian reasons.

Re: Pleco ID
Thank you. Looks like it. When it was younger it looked more like image 5 in the Cat-elog on this site. The gold spots have kinda faded as it's aged I guess. I really appreciate your input.
