Here in the state's there calling them chocolate red eye's. I have 2 about 9-10 month's old thier 10-12 in. I believe there some kind of morph of the common florida farm pleco. thier pretty nice looking as adult's and seem mild tempered.
what's the matter?---cat got you'r tongue.

Thanks, guys.
He is fairly dark in color (almost a reddish pink), with red eyes. He was also fairly inexpensive ($7.99 CAD), but young Common Plecos (regular), I've seen go for as low as $3.99 CAD. The LFS worker told me they only get to be 10-12" in length. About the only thing I would say for sure is that he's an Albino something or other. On another message board, someone also mentioned Chocolate Pleco.
Does that influence anything?

hi!
"only" get to 12''?? what kind of tank dyou have?...imho youd need at least a 500 Litre tank for a fish that big...with a very very strong filtration as these guys constantly poop..
Imho this is the albino and in no way G.scrophus as they would be much more expensive and look quite different
