Definately a Chaetostoma sp. (rubbernose ple co)... Quite possibly the common spotted rubbernose, L187a. Have a look in the cat E-log to compare that to your fish.

The angle of the light hitting it might be making it's coloration look more golden.. Have any more pics of it to post?

yup, it looks like the pictures posted for the L187a...

Yep, that's L187a alright... Just read up on them as Chaetostoma spp. aren't the easiest to keep by any means, especially in heated tanks.
