I'm sure most everyone has seen the banjo cats PetsMart (or some of them, at least) have. Or had, depending on where you are.
I've read that these guys are good at "aeration" of the soil, especially with sand substrate in tanks. And that they get around 6 inches or so. Good community fish, don't eat other tankmates, no matter the size.
Would one be okay in a 20 gallon tank? Or would something along the lines of a 40 gallon be better?

You'd be surprised how active they are after the lights are out, especiallywhen there's food involved. I have more active bottom-dwellers in the same tank, but the banjos can get more than their fair share of food.
