L182?

L182?

Hi

I have had this fish for quite a while now and I asked about it before on the old board.I think I eventually ID'd it as a female L182 Starlight Bristlenose Pleco.But I just noticed that the cat-e-log says females dont have any bristles but mine has a few small ones.I also got a few new pics if someone could have a look and see if they can ID her.

Hi T!

The problem with the Ancistrus is that almost every river has a species that have a black/dark brown back ground and white dots. Unless you know the exact catching place, you can give a guess at the L# number ID, otherwise it is barely impossible.

Your fish is sure a female because of the way the bristle look but I can't tell you if female L182 have or have not at all brisltes...
