It looks like C. axelrodi. C. deckeri is a trade name for C. axelrodi. C. axelrodi which comes from Columbia has been imported under the name C. deckeri.

The fish shown is the un-described species C3 commonly known as C. 'DECKERI and often imported with C. axelrodi.

Hi Coryman,

would you care to advise how do we go about differentiating C3 and axelrodi? I always thought that C3 would have more of a spattering of markings as compared to the axelrodi.

Would appreciate any enlightenment here.

Thanks
