Pangasius hypothalamus overall compatibility.

Post by matongflush »

I have three 70 cm long pangasius catfishes. I keep one of them in a separate tank from the others. Anyone knows if the lone pangasius can be kept with a foot long papyrocranus afer and a 2 foot long spotted gar in an 800 gallon pond?

that should not be a problem; all big fish, and none are overly agressive (you probably already know about stress & Pangasius)

Papyrocranus is the African Knife with the eyespots?

Yes, the knifefish is the one with the eyespots. The lone pangasius is the one with eye problem. Hope this will stop any confusion.
