What kind of syno?

Post by Caparnikus »

My dad has a syno in his tank, a black lace syno according to wal-mart where he purchased it.

I looked through the synondontis pictures in the cat-elog but i couldnt find any with that particular common name. It looks like either a Synodontis eupterus or a Synodontis aterrimus

Do either of those go by black lace syno? if not what other syno does?

Thanks

Given the location where your dad bought the fish, I'd say it was either or .
But you say it looks like S. aterrimus, so I suspect you have a young eupterus.
