Hi I am new

Post by mermaid »

Hi I am new to this site, I have a 3 and a half foot fish tank which I keep at 74 degrees, I have a 4 inch goldfish who I have had for 7 years now, one brown spotted plec who is about 2 inches long, one albino plec who is 1 and a half inches long, an apple snail, and just recently I have added an upside down catfish who I am very disappointed with as all he does is hide under the big bogwood in the tank and I never see him!!!, I have also just added 5 bronze corys who are just great. Can anyone give me any advice about the corys as I am new to these, also my spotted plec seems to be trying to attached its mouth to my large goldfish, is it being nasty to my goldfish as up till now he has just left it alone??, my albino is quite shy and hides alot. ANy advice would be great. I have a fluval 3 underwater filter installed in the tank.

Thank you

Your upside down cat (I'm presuming you have Synodontis, not Mystus) would need to be kept in a small group, with plenty of vegetation for it to feel more at home.
