Hi all,
Im new here, and to the world of catfish. i am currently setting up my new 180 litre tank, and was going to keep it as a community tank. I was looking at plecs and catfish, and really wanted to add some zebra plecos, but I understand there is an embargo on them being exported from Brazil, why? Are they endangered?

So on that note can anyone recommend an alternative? Are there others that look as beautiful as the Zebras?

Hi stan and welcome to PC There are many stunning catfish for the enthusiast to keep,Far to many to list here.
Check out the link at the top of the page,The catElog has lots of info and pictures of many catfish :)
