Are you certain it is ich?
Check your pH. I have seen the "skin falling off" thing with ich, it is actually excess mucus in response to the irritation. more often I have seen it with sudden low pH. Also, check your ammonia and make sure the filter is functioning. You got ich because the fish are stressed in some way. If the ammonia is high or the pH low or suddenly low, correct for those coditons.
It sounds like the fish have been fighting. I have seen white eyes with infection, but also as a result of fighting.
When I had a massive ich outbreak in my synos, I did end up with a 9 inch fish in a ten gal Q-tank. I raised the temp to around 82, not wanting to go as hige as he reommmended 84-86, to speed up the life cycle of the ich, and treated with RidIch Plus at full dose, which is relatively safe for scaleless catfish. I don't know the medication you mentioned, but many of them are risky for synos and should be used at half strength.
In you Q-tank, monitor ammonia and pH. You will have to treat daily and change the 20-30 of the water daily for as long as it takes. When I had poor old Dottie in the 10 gal QT, it took ten days. She was quite sick and barely eating, but s/he is still growing and causing trouble three years later.
I would skip the antibiotic unless there is a good reason to use it. There is enough going on with your fish you don't need the added stress of more meds until it is critical to have them in the tank.
Good luck and I hope others have some idea bout the green slime, which Ihave never heard of.
