But the deadline for advance registrations and the fish show is up in just a couple days! If you haven't registered for the convention, you only have until Thursday to do so. Also, if you need hotel reservations these also need to be made by Thursday or else you may risk having to find a different hotel in the area!
If you've already registered, please consider bringing a couple of fish for the fish show. We have terrific prizes for sub-class, class and show winners! Also, please doublecheck with the hotel to make sure that you are included in the convention block for the weekend. You'll get a better price and the hosts will get a discount on the rooms for the event.
We're also still looking for unusual or otherwise compelling donations for the silent auction which will benefit J.R. Shute's work at Conservations Fisheries, Inc. Don't forget to bring some bags of fish to sell in the auction, and be ready to buy some of the terrific livestock available there.
Finally, we need digital pictures of catfishes so that we can make slideshows to project in between speakers and
other events.
