new here

Post by cjexotics »

Just joined the site (nice site by the way)

Not new to fish (I keep cichlids and piranhas) but fairly new to catfish and I've read some good info here. So I figured after a year of reading I might as well join.

The only "catfish" I keep right now is a group of bristle nose plecos (normal and albinos) a few royal plecos a spotted raphael and some unknown (to me anyways) little yellow spotted fat black cat that croaks/growls. But I see more cats in my fishrooms future

nope - It's a new world not an african - I had the name at one time but can't rember it now. OH well no big deal not interested in breeeding it or anything as long as it stays alive thats fine with me,I actually inherited it, wasn't something I got on purpose.

I just noticed cichlid is a censored word here
My bad, guess they must not be popular even as tankmates here :?

Then it's most probably this.
nope - the other I have is but not the unidentified one. I'll look around for the name or see if I can force it to come out for a pic.

I have many cichlid tanks and I am sure many others here do as well, but with us, the catfish tanks outnumber the cichlid tanks and to us catfish rule, not the cichlids.
