Scientific Name Neblinichthys yaravi  (Steindachner, 1915)
Common Name
Type Locality Río Coquenan, Venezuela.
Synonym(s) Ancistrus yaravi, Peckoltia yaravi
Etymology Neblin- is based on the Neblina camp that is the location where the type specimen was caught. -ichtys: fish. Literally "fish from Neblina".

Size 47mm or 1.9" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
General Remarks A recent "look again" at this species suggests it is neither Peckoltia or Ancistrus but another species of Neblinichthys.

Distribution South America: Kukenan River basin in the upper Caroni River drainage, Venezuela.
