Identification	Characterised by the large saddle shaped dark greenish brown body marking, from which it gets its common name.

Husbandry Information
Feeding	Will readily accepted all prepared foods that reach the bottom of the aquarium such as tablets, granules and larger flakes. Live (or frozen) foods such as bloodworm, white worm, grindal worm (Enchytraeus), Daphnia and Tubifex are readily accepted and good for conditioning groups of fishes for spawning. User data.
Furniture	Substrate should be a fine smooth-grained sand.
Compatibility	A peaceful species best kept in groups of five or more. Tank mates should be of a similar temperament.
Suggested Tankmates	Small to medium Terra's, Barbs, Anabantoids and Danios make ideal tank mates.
