If your keeping them with African Cichlids, they will thrive on whatever they are eating. All of my Syno groups are in my African tanks are are doing well with no special dietary considerations.
Also, I agree with giving them some cover so when they feel like hiding, they have the option. Cichlid ...

Mine are very active. Much more outgoing than say, my Pardalis. I enjoy them quite a bit. Good luck with them.

Any Ideas what they may be?
I Received these in a Trade a while back. They are around an 1.5 inch to 1.75 Inches TL at this time. They were given to me as L-333 which I believe that to be a "Mis-ID"..
I'm curious to hear what you folks think they may be. I'm leaning towards L-129 debilittera. I appreciate all input. Thanks ...

Ive kept them together as Juveniles and Sub Adults. Just make sure you have enough caves and hiding places for all of them.

Re: Emergency Tank Repair Options!
All you need is a tube of silicone, razors, rubbing alcohol and elbow grease. If you dont have extra elbow Grease, Call the nearest petco and ask when they are running their Dollar gallon sale. I got a New 40 Breeder and 20 Long for $60.

Re: synodontis njassae is this right. help
In my opinion, Its not Njassae as I keep a wild pair. This doesn't look like either the small or large spotted Variant to me. Both the Spotting and Body shape arent correct. Best of Luck. Pretty cat either way.

Re: Synodontis pardalis Ja River
I'm keeping a group of 3 around 5 - 6 inches and I have not noticed terrible aggression although I have seen some scrapes on them from time to time. They are more active than many other Synos that Ive kept. They dont seem to be as tied to the bottom of the tank as most other Synos and I have found ...

Re: How do you post pictures from imgur.com?
I use photobucket, but yes you click the "Img" box and place the code between the set of Image brackets.
But on photobucket I just click the Img code box next to the pic I want to share and its auto copies it into your Que, then you just "Paste" the full Image code where you would like the Image ...

Re: Hurricane- Lose any fish?
I lost power for 5 days. My tanks dropped into the low 60s. I ran my air and sponges on Battery backups in cycles. Did water changes every other day. Thank Heaven I have gas heat and I still had hot water, so I could change the water with some warm water. I have a couple hundred fish and 11 Tanks ...
