i have been giving him omega 3 sinking shrimp pellets, tetra veggie wafers and last night i put some lobster row in there, hard to tell if he is eating though.

it already in there, and because it is a bit larger, it is doing much better, ate like a pif last night. and next week the whole community is getting moved into a new 27 cube.

all of the corys fins are intact and everyone in the tank gets along, the barbs and loaches school together, and i dont have any nipping problems. i can supply a photo of the tank tommorrow.

wow, those loaches are huge, and yes i know that they can get big, and when they do i will sell them to my supplier. i am not able to put up a bigger tank less it fall through my old houses floor, again, i dont think tank size is the problem with these baby plecos. i also got my water tested again ...

clown loaches, and there are more than enough hiding spots in the tank. also with the amount of filtration and water changes, the over stocking really isnt an issue, which is why im so puzzled. are baby plecos that much more fragile than adults.

its a 20 gallon tank with an emporor 400 filter, baby tiger barbs and zebra danios, assorted corys and a few loaches. i do not test my water, but the last time i had it tested everything checked out good, and i use proper ph when i do water changes. temperature is 81 degrees.

i have bought an L66 and an L444 (i think thats what it is petsmart calls it a ruberlip pleco)
both of them where about an inch long and both died. any thoughts?

my common pleco is about 9 inchels long, his tank doesnt have any caves in it for him to hid in, but he seems perfectly content to hang on to the glass all day and hide himself behind the filter intake. do you think he is as content hiding there? or would a cave make him happy? he is pretty shy, so ...

for my L21/23 (im unsure of which one he actually is) ive always fed him tetra veggie extreme wafers. he seems to like them alot and eats about 10 a day and has grown to 9 inches. but i am looking for a good carnivor wafer for my L66. is hikari's as good as they say?

my common pleco is 9 inches, the L66 was only about an inch long. i keep hearing about these earthworm sticks, will the L66 not do well on bottom feeder tabs?

well thankfully the guy at the shop said that given a water sample that checks out he will just order me another one. i really think that my water is ok and the problem is temperature.
