The temperature dose rise in the fish room, but not nothing like outside temperature. I would say an increase of 4 to 6 degrees in side the fish room. Thats why I'm wondering if this increase in temperature is killing the petricola fry.

Keeping Petricola fry alive
I had my first spawn in March, and another in April. I had no problem with the fry. I keep my fish room at 78 degree's and I don't air condition during summer months. It seems to me that every since the temperature outside has gotten warmer than the fish room I have not been able to keep new fry ...

pleco's
I have spawned albino and brown bristle nose pleco's, and was wondering if anyone could suggest some other kind of pleco that could be spawned? If possible under the same water conditions that the bristle nose have been spawned in. Thanks.

I bought my petricola's about 3 years ago, and was told by the breeder that they were about a year old when I when I got them. They just spawned for the first time about 6 weeks ago, and are spawning every 3 weeks so far. I just got my 3rd batch of eggs today. My group looks to be 6 males 3 females ...

Multi's
I usually put 1 male and 3 female's on the Multi's. The cichlids is usually 2 or 3 male's and 8 to 10 female's. That way it seems like you always have a cichlid ready to spawn when the Multi's are ready also. The male Multi will have something hanging down in front of his anal fin.

petricola's
They do spawn using marbles. I just got my second spawn in the last month. I have had mine for about 3 years and they were about a year when I got them. It takes longer for them to mature and start spawning than the multi's. I have been spawning multi's for about 10 years now, and still enjoy ...
