Snail eating catfish?

I am wondering if there is a South American catfish that likes snails???? It can also not get big (4") as I have a 26 show tank. I have all So Amer. fish in there so not wanting to add loaches if I can help it since it seems they are all Asian (?).

20 cm = about 7" and that is too big. What is an Ancistrus I can tell them that will be closer to 4"?
