Question on bristlenose behavoir
I have a new albino bristlenose (a breeder gave it to me!). It is suppose to be female (hoping, if not I am sure they will trade for a female- has no to teensy bristles presently). I have a male I have had about 2 mos. He is bigger - about 3 to 4". He hides most of the time. I know they are ...

Snail eating catfish?
I am wondering if there is a South American catfish that likes snails???? It can also not get big (4") as I have a 26 show tank. I have all So Amer. fish in there so not wanting to add loaches if I can help it since it seems they are all Asian (?).

Need to know what Scientific name to tell my LFS I want
Hi- I am interested in a Bristlenose Catfish but don't know what Ancistrus sp. to tell them. I want one that will not get bigger than 4 or 5 inches. They have what they are calling a Bushy Nose Pleco. How big do these get? (they thought big) They said if I have a correct scientific name they can ...
