the bigger fry in there with the horizontal stripes looks close to an L173 - weird!

They are simular looking to L-173 as fry. The parents only look as good as the fry when I am changing water or grabbing caves. I'll get some pics of the parents in the next couple days.

Your parent fish FantasticFins looks very close to one of the male Hypancistrus spp. I am currently keeping and the only one that survived through quarantine when I bought these fish 4 years ago.

It's funny to note that some of the fish in the Cat-eLog for do not seem to match the fish in the photos here nor here http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum/sh ... hp?t=54139.

They are a lot looking like my first hypancistrus sp. L333 that i bought 4 years ago.
Some of the fry´s are very similar to my youngsters that i got from several spawnings. :thumbsup:
I keep zebras,L200´s,L183´s,L333´s and many more,lots of corys and some cichlids from south america :D
