Re: Do Ancistrus cf. Cirrhosus and A. brevifilis inbreed?
Mats that what I'm afraid... although I read some "reports" with a grain of salt.
Richard B, the tank is 1,70 m long. there is a change that I've males and females in brevifilis too, since one already has evidence of a bristlenose, while the others dont.

Cirrhosus (3 males and 1 female) in a tank and in another one I've Ancistrus brevifilis (3 juveniles), I plan to join them both in the same aquarium, but I'm afraid they can create hybrid offspring. But it seems that South American fish can be so distinct that they ...

Although in the picture, two of them (of the same supplier) have thicker, pointed and longer tentacules (tentacles), while the older ancistrus has very short ...

Re: Is this Synodontis angelicus/ocellifer hybrid?
Sorry to use this topic, but the Eupterus thing is important. I've similar synodontis, which were said to me here, more than a year ago, these were hybrids. Will you try to breed them? why the profile says that breeding is unreported, they are probably bred by suppliers.

Re: New/old Banjo video
my banjos just do that in the early morning (feed with lights on/sunlights) or if I put a nice pellet of food in front of them or when the lights are out at the evening. I used to have mine in gravel like that. But I now use silica sand, which is the best for them. They don't need to hide behind ...

Big black dots, They were sol to me as Synodontis Lucipinnis, but it doesnt look like what I see on the net, mine dont have those dark fins. The LFS was also selling at the time Synodontis Valentiana ...
