Catfish for a new tank
Catfish for a new tank
I'll shortly be setting up a new 60 litre. As it's years since I've had a tank that wasn't just a 20 - 30 litre species tank, I was thinking of having a nice Bristlenose or similar in the tank. But is it OK to add a BN to a newly cycled tank? Or would it be worth waiting for about 3 months or so? Although I've had BN's etc. in the past they've always been added to mature tanks so I could do with some expert advice

Re: Catfish for a new tank
Hi and welcome,
I'm relatively new to catfish myself but this page has all the common questions answered. I'd start with the "Catfish Basics" articles about 1/3 way down the page. I think it's best to cycle the tank properly first but the articles will give you a lot more than I can. Beware, one catfish always leads to another

Racing, shoes and fish. Nothing else matters. Oh, and bacon.
